Pensa Literary Society
PLS was formed in 2000 to Perform at the Variety Night Activities. The group was crystallized after the performance. The first drama or production was titled "The mysterious Riddle".
Some of the founding members were Eld. Isaac Awuzah, Eld. Stephen Owusu (The Blood) Mr. Reeves Abroakwa, Miss Shella London (Now Osafomaame Adueni), Mrs. Vivian Amfo (Current Deputy International Women's Director), Mr. Budu Acquah, Eld. Dr. Chris Quist and Some few others.
Years later Mr. Enoch Aidoo, Deaconess Esther Tobin , Bertha Owusu Ansah, Pastor Frank Mensah Tandoh and Elder Ransford Nana Addo Jnr took the dream beyond the PENSA Auditorium for the whole Legon Campus to see the vision.
Plays such as Broken Joy, It Could Be You and Sariki brought people from the homes to fill auditoriums. At this Stage PLS became an Envagelistic Ministry focusing on SHS. In 2007 it staged it first Ministration at the National Theatre.
